India, Feb. 17 -- Bengaluru-based BYTES, an AI-powered safety system provider for two wheelers, has secured a non-dilutive grant of INR 20 Lakh from Nikhil Kamath's WTFund. The startup is among those selected for the fund's second cohort.
Founded in August 2024 by Prakhar Agrawal and Aayush Kumar, BYTES' AI-driven Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) is designed to prevent accidents by predicting and identifying high-risk scenarios in real time.
Two wheelers make up 60% of more than 50 Mn road accidents the world suffers every year. Human error contributes to 90% of these crashes, and the absence of robust safety features increases the risk of fatality by 40%, the startup said in a statement.
