IMPHAL, July 16 -- Noting that sports tourism will flourish in the State once the national sports university starts functioning fully fledged, inner Manipur parliamentary constituency (IMPC) Lok Sabha MP, RK Ranjan today said that he will press the centre to complete construction of the university within two years.
He made the statement while interacting with media today at his residence at Kongba Nandeibam Leikai. Ranjan stated that with the coming of the national sports university in the state, sports based tourism will be developed as Manipur and the NE will soon become a land linked hub with other South East Asian countries.
