Manipur, March 21 -- Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), government of Manipur has informed the general public that there will be no water supply in the areas under the jurisdiction of Moirangkhom and Chinga water supply due to the very low water level in Imphal River.
A statement signed by executive engineer (W/S Project Construction Division), PHED, Y. Dhumbra requested the public to bear with the inconveniences till the situation improves. "Authorities concerned are requested to look into the matter at the earliest so that the general public is not inconvenienced further," it added.
