Manipur, April 19 -- Vice chief of Army Staff (VCOAS), lieutenant general, Devraj Anbu visited Trishakti Corps and forward areas of Sikkim from April 17-18, said a release from PIB (Defence Wing).
The release further mentioned that on his arrival at Sukna, Devraj Anbu was briefed by GOC of Trishakti Corps, lieutenant general, CP Mohanty on the operational preparedness and the prevailing situation at the borders. "Subsequently, Devraj Anbu proceeded to East Sikkim to visit key forward posts, where he interacted with the troops and complimented them for their professionalism, commitment and dedication for maintaining round the clock vigil in sensitive border areas and upholding the sovereignty of the nation," it added.
