Manipur, Nov. 19 -- The district administration of Ukhrul has extended monetary assistance of Rs 10,000 each and essential food items as immediate relief response to the 18 victims of the market fire that occurred on Monday.

District Commissioner Ukhrul Joseph Pauline Kamson and additional DC D Gangmei handed the monetary assistance to the victims whose shops were gutted by the raging fire.

Meanwhile, the Wino Community has expressed acknowledgement and gratitude to everyone who helped in containing the fire that burned down 12 shops and five rooms in Wino Bazaar.
