Manipur, April 25 -- A member of United Kuki National Army (a non SoO group) was apprehended on the afternoon of April 24 from Khuga Dam Government Quarters along with 77 letter heads of demand.
The apprehended individual who has been identified as Kamkholal Haokip, 33, son of Ngampao Haokip of Khongjanglok village under Henglep sub-division, Churachandpur. And, the 77 letter heads of demands seized from his possession were mostly allegedly made to demand money from village chiefs. An FIR has been filed at Churachandpur-PS for further investigation till the time of filing this report.
