Manipur, Nov. 17 -- Seven Nepali women have been rescued by the police in a human trafficking case in Manipur border town Moreh, according to police sources.

The Moreh Police patrolling along the international border line intercepted the seven Nepali women near Sunrise Ground Moreh on Sunday at around 11 am. Noticing the suspicious manner of the women, the police informed the Immigration officials and lady police.

When asked , the seven women informed that they were headed for Dubai and Kuwait. They all possessed travel passports and visas stamped with forged seal of Land Checkpost Moreh, India, November 17, 2009, the police said.
