Manipur, April 18 -- Manipur State Power Company Limited (MSPCL) has informed all concerned that there will be power supply disruption in the areas fed by Churachandpur, Kakching, Chandel, Moreh and Elangkhangpokpi 132/33 KV sub stations.

A release signed by deputy general manager of MSPCL, A Rajendra Sharma stated that normal power supply five transmission towers (C type) at a stretch of SaikulLoukol near the 132 KV sub-station, Churachandpur of 132 KV D/C Kakching to Churachandpur had collapsed that due to the heavy cyclonic storm that occurred on April 15.

"Normal power supply may be resumed in 10 (ten) to 15 (fifteen) days' time when line restoration works are completed," it added.
