Manipur, Jan. 28 -- The Naga Women's Union (NWU) on Friday condemned the bomb blast that took place at Ukhrul on Wednesday on the eve of the Republic Day of India, terming it an inhuman act of terrorism.

A release issued by NWU president Asha Wungnam stated that the act was a terror attack carried out by sadists who attempted to claim innocent lives. "Such cowardice could never bring anything to your call rather than slaying yourself," it stated. The NWU drew the attention of the competent authority to bring peace and justice to the state, it added. It also stressed on the urgency of the issue for the safety of the people of the state.
