Manipur, Jan. 20 -- Tiny Marangphung village in the hills of Manipur, which has been depending on its salt lake and thriving on locally produced organic food, urges the state government to provide 'basic facilities" to improve their means of livelihood.
When the majority of the world population has been facing untold miseries and normal lives are thrown out of gear due to the prolonged Coronavirus pandemic, a small Tangkhul village in the remote northern part of Manipur's Ukhrul district has a different story to tell.
