Manipur, March 13 -- Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh on Wednesday inaugurated the first water amusement park ofthe state at Thenguchingjin Awang Potsangbam in Imphal East district and announced that more will be set up in seven districts.

Addressing the gathering, CM Biren said that due to the absence of adequate entertainment infrastructure and environment, well-to-do families travel outside the state just to have fun and enjoyment thus draining the economy of the state.

However, water amusement parks in the state will not only save the state's economy but it will also provide fun and enjoyment to everyone, he said.
