Manipur governor stresses on plight of IDPs at NEC meet
Manipur, Jan. 20 -- Manipur Governor Anusuiya Uikey said that Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) living in relief camps need to be sent to their homes. She stressed the need to immediately give relief amount/interim relief amount to those whose properties have been damaged.
The governor was speaking during the interaction session of the 71st Plenary of the North Eastern Council (NEC) at the State Convention Centre, Shillong, Meghalaya on Friday.
