Manipur, March 25 -- Armed miscreants forcibly abducted two persons from Lilong Nungei area under Lilong Police Station, Thoubal district, Manipur on Saturday.

As per sources, the incident took place at around 10.45 pm. The victims have been identified as Md Farijuddin alias Boycha 28, son of Md Rahimuddin and his friend, namely Md Abdul Warish, 31,son of Haji Abdul Barik, both are residents of Lilong Nungei.

The source disclosed that the two men were forcibly abducted in a Range Rover black in colour, bearing registration number DL1CR- 5105, by unknown persons in front of Nungei Junior High School located at Lilong Nungei without giving any reason.
