Manipur, April 21 -- Womenfolk of Singjamei on Sunday gathered for a sit-in protest at the Imo Filling Petrol depot in response to a gun attack on the residence of Th Sujata, the convenor of Imagi Meira, on Saturdaynight.

According to reports, at approximately 9.30 pm, a group of armed individuals carried out a gun attack on ThSujata's home. Following the incident, the state police arrived at the scene to record statements and initiate an investigation

Addressing the media, Th Sujata revealed that her organisation had held a press conference just a day before to condemn the actions of unidentified individuals.
