Manipur, Feb. 18 -- All Manipur Petroleum Dealers have decided to open pumps from Sunday stating that chief secretary of Manipur has assured for looking into the matter of their demands.

On Thursday, the dealers took a unanimous decision to shut down oil pumps for three consecutive days starting from Friday due to the ongoing conflict which has crossed more than nine months in the state.

Speaking to media persons in Imphal, the dealers said that a meeting was held with oil companies and also with chief secretary of Manipur regarding their strike on Friday.

During the meeting, the dealers put up their problems during the ongoing conflict and discussed the same. Then, on Saturday, they submitted representation to the chief secretary.
