Manipur, March 9 -- In a significant crackdown on illegal activities, officers of the DPF Unit Imphal Customs Division on Friday detained three female passengers at the Canchipur area and recovered 415.10 gramof gold ornaments worth over Rs. 27 lakh.

A release by the deputy commissioner of Customs Division Imphal, Rajivkumar Yengkhom, stated that acting on specific information, the officers intercepted the suspects as they were traveling from Moreh towards Imphal.
