Manipur, April 18 -- Longsai (Nungsai) Village Authority, in a press release, has apprised officials of the Sub-Division and state government of the loss and damages to the houses and properties of the inhabitants of the village caused by the heavy storms that occurred on April 15.
The release mentioned in particular that (a) JainthuilungRiamei, son of PourimlungRiamei sustained serious injuries, (b) the number of houses totally destroyed is 10 while those partially destroyed is16, (c) the power supply line between Jougantek village and Longsai part-iv village has been disrupted as several electric officials felled during the storm, and (d) many banana farms were also destroyed.
