Manipur, April 26 -- Despite the bad weather conditions and different hurdles faced by district election officers as well as polling and presiding officers, polling for the Lok Sabha Election in II Outer Parliamentary constituency went off peacefully in Tamenglong district on Friday.

Tamenglong district has two assembly constituencies including 52-Tamei and 53-Tamenglong with 75,438 voters which include 36,636 male voters and 38,782 female voters of the two assembly segments respectively for the 2-Outer Manipur (ST) Parliamentary Constituency. Tamenglong district had36 numbers of female managed polling stations.
