Manipur, Jan. 15 -- Chongtham Jamini of Changangei Uchekon Divya Bharti Ashram, Imphal was awarded the 'Chandrashakhi Laishram Gold Medal in Literature 2020' for her contributions and works in the field of literature.

Annual and biannual literary awards for 2020 were presented at the 54th anniversary of the Sahitya Seva Samiti Kakching on Friday.

The event, which was held at the auditorium of Library and Information Centre Kakching, opened with floral tribute to the departed souls of Sahitya Seva Samiti Kakching.
