Manipur, Jan. 19 -- Many young players of SAI SAG Khuman Lampak are not sure about their future in sports with an informal announcement coming about that the institute is going to be closed down.

The announcement was made by the secretary of Youth Affairs and Sports, Radhey Shyam Julaniya on January 16 during the second Foundation Day of the National Sports University.

Speaking to the media at Manipur Press Club on Sunday, one of the players, Loitangbam Swamikumar said that presently more than 250 players in different games are training under SAI SAG, which is regarded as an apex body for national sports.
