Manipur, April 25 -- Khangshim Village Authority (KVA) has expressed strong opposition against the authority concerned for acquiring land, and opening of main labour camps of the Asian Highway Project (AHP) in the village area without any prior consultation with the village.

Speaking at a public awareness programme on AHP held today at K. Konshang Memorial community hall, Khangshim, chief of the village, Khaling Mikawlrawng stated that the village authority is not against the developmental project.
