Manipur, Nov. 13 -- Farmers' concern and rural development is gaining world attention. This was made more evident as world leaders came together and expressed serious concern at the World Congress on Rural and Agriculture Finance in Delhi on Tuesday and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman emphasised India's top priority to farmers' concerns.
The Government of India's top priority is to put the "farmers' concerns and rural development on a larger landscape," said Union Minister for Finance & Corporate Affairs Nirmala Sitharaman in her inaugural address at the sixth edition of the World Congress on Rural and Agriculture Finance.
