Manipur, Feb. 20 -- The five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on entrepreneurship, organised by Entrepreneurship Development Centre, Department of Vocational Studies and Skill Development (DVSSD), Manipur University, kicked off at the department's training hall on Tuesday.

The training programme has been sponsored by North Eastern Council, Shillong, under the project 'Establish, Develop and Manage Entrepreneurship Development Centres and Incubation Centres in North East Region's Educational Institutions'.

Speaking on the occasion, DVSSD assistant professor Nambram Amulkumar asserted that the FDP programme aims to provide entrepreneurial training to around 5,000 people in the North East.
