Manipur, March 21 -- In what might be regarded as an unprecedented initiative in the Manipuri film industry, the first ever Manipuri Sci-Fi short film entitled "Iriguchi" was premiered on March 19 at MAASI complex, Imphal East.
A release stated that the movie Iriguchi which was produced by Uchek Society along with Studio Dominance, revisited the engagement of Manipuris during the 2nd World and depicted a masterful rendition through the sci-fi genre. "The film is the first short experimental sci-fi film from Manipur," said the film's director," Edwin Haorokcham.
Along with the premiere of the sci-fi movie, a music video "Tamna Tamna" from the band Solace was also released on the same day.
