IMPHAL, Oct. 15 -- Session judge of Imphal East has fixed November 13 for the charge hearing against three policemen in connection with the alleged fake encounter killing of Ningthoujam Khaiba which took place on November 12, 2006.
The date has been fixed after the case was put up before the court of session judge Imphal East from the chief judicial magistrate (CJM) for trial as the case has been an exclusive trial by the court of session judge.
Earlier, the CJM, Imphal East had taken cognisance against the accused persons of the charge sheet on June 1 submitted by CBI/SIT in connection with the alleged fake encounter/ extrajudicial killing of Ningthoujam Khaiba who are presently out on bail, and the relevant paper of the charge sheet was...
