Manipur, April 19 -- Candidate of Communist Party of India (CPI) for inner Manipur parliamentary constituency, Dr. M. Nara has today written to returning officer of IMPC to conduct a repoll in certain areas alleging booth capture by minister, Th. Shyamkumar and wife with their chosen workers in favour of BJP candidate.

In his letter, Nara has alleged that voters in six polling stations namely, 7/39 Nongbram, 7/40-Keithelmanbi, 7/41-Moirangpurel A, 7/42-Tumukhong, 7/43-Moirangpurel B and 7/44-Itham were not able to exercise their rights as electors fully. He therefore requested the cancellation of poll in the said polling stations of Andro assembly constituency and to conduct repoll under strict security arrangement.
