Manipur, Nov. 17 -- Communist Party of India, Manipur State Council will be holding a mass protest rally on Tuesday to protest against Citizenship Amendment Bill and Naga Peace talks.

This was announced by secretary of CPI, State Council, Sotin Kumar while briefing the media at Irawat Bhavan today. He said that CPI has been demanding a special state assembly session for the past three months, but the state government is neglecting the demands of the party and the people as a whole.

The state government has declined on convening a state assembly session because it fears that it will be against the interest of Naga Peoples Front which will further affect the state coalition government, he added.
