Manipur, April 9 -- The Indian National Congress (INC) party's candidate for Outer Manipur constituency Alfred Kanngam Arthur on Tuesday visited Churachandpur to directly assess his prospects in the ensuing Lok Sabha election, in the backdrop of the simmering ethnic crisis in Manipur.

He was accompanied by MPCC working president Victor Keishing along with star campaigner and MPCC working president T Manga Vaiphei and Churachandpur DCC president Lalnghet Hmar.

They met with the different leaders of Churachandpur district during the visit.
