Manipur, June 29 -- The Centre on Monday issued new guidelines of Unlock 2.0 as India nears 5.5 lakh COVID-19 cases. The new guidelines will come into effect by July 1, 2020. The new guidelines are based on feedbacks received from states and UTs, and extensive consultations held with related Central Ministries and Departments, reports said.

Salient features of the new guidelines for Unlock 2.0

Domestic flights and passenger trains have already been allowed in a limited manner. Their operations will be further expanded in a calibrated manner.
