Manipur, Jan. 23 -- A bomb blast took place at Nagamapal RIMS road in Imphal early morning on Wednesday, injuring a minor girl.

The explosion occurred at 4.55 am, according to eye witnesses who were out on the RIMS Road early morning.

A minor girl staying around the vicinity was hit in the forehead by a broken glass pane caused by the impact of the blast. The injured has been taken to a hospital for medical attention.

The culprit behind the blast is yet to be identified, the police said, adding that investigation is underway.
