IMPHAL, Sept. 22 -- JAC against the alleged murder of Ningthoujam Babysana Chanu today warned to intensify agitations if the state government fails to produce a letter issued by the CBI to confirm that it has taken over the case.

The committee also said the arrested persons in connection with the alleged murder of Babysana should not be released unless the case is handed over to CBI.

Briefing the media at THAU ground here today, convener of the JAC, L. Gyaneshwari said the members of JAC submitted an application to issue a permit for conducting a public meeting on September 20 to the deputy commissioner of Imphal West district.
