Manipur, April 23 -- All Manipur Working Journalists' Union (AMWJU) has notified that the Returning Officer (RO) for the upcoming election of the Union (2019-2021) has approved the candidatures of all those who have applied.
A statement signed by the RO-AMWJU, Leihaothabam Saratchandra stated that the approvals were given since all the candidates who have been accepted during the Scrutiny have not withdrawn their candidatures till the date announced for the last of withdrawal i.e. April 22.
It further mentioned the list of candidates' names along with the posts they have applied as candidates which are as follows: (a) Bijoy Kakchingtabam and (b) Wangkhemcha Dhamendro for Presidentship of the Union. And for the post of Standing Committee M...
