Manipur, May 8 -- The 2nd9 A-Side football tournament cum Anal Naga inter-village volleyball tournament, 2024 began on Tuesday at the Chakpikarong Public Playground, Chakpikarong in Chandel district.

Organised by Chakpikarong Youth Club (KYC), 31 teams are participating in the football event while 23 teams are participating in the volleyball tournament.

In the first football match, Ruwngchang YC thrashed Ckg Police by 15 goals to one with Nl. Kanlun scoring 8goals. The lone goal for Ckg Police was scored by Mojoy.

Chenghring of Ruwngchang YC and Loverson of Ckg Police were cautioned with Yellow cards for foul play.
