Youngest village head of j'khand, missing since oct 2, found from ranchi, probe on
Dhanbad, Oct. 6 -- Jharkhand's youngest woman Mukhiya (village head), Sapna Kumari (25), who had gone missing from her Palihari Gurudih Panchayat under Gomia block on October 2, has been found safe in Ranchi, police said on Sunday. According to officials, Bokaro Police, with assistance from Ranchi Police, traced her location late Saturday evening and brought her back to Bokaro for further inquiry.
Confirming the development, Bermo sub-divisional police officer (SDPO) BN Singh told Hindustan Times, "The missing Mukhiya has been found from Ranchi. She will be produced in court, where her statement will be recorded."
Asked about the circumstances behind her disappearance, Singh said, "Nothing can be revealed before her statement is recorded in court."
Officials said Sapna's family had lodged a missing person complaint at Gomia police station after she did not return home following a Gandhi Jayanti event. Her disappearance had sparked concern across the district and on social media, where she is known for her active presence....
