ARA, June 21 -- A young jeweller who had been missing for the past two months was found safe by Bihar's Bhojpur police in Indore, officials said on Friday. Bhojpur Superintendent of Police (SP) Raj stated that the disappearance of 25-year-old Rajesh Kumar Soni had caused widespread concern among his family members and local residents. Protests were held, including a road blockade, and hundreds of people met the SP alleging police inaction in the case. Rajesh had gone missing on April 17, after he left his jewellery shop in Udwantnagar to visit his brother-in-law's house in Isarhi. His motorcycle was later found abandoned near Udwantnagar halt, triggering suspicions of foul play. The SP further said a special investigation team (SIT) was formed to trace the missing youth. The team scrutinised around 4,000 mobile numbers and, with technical support, tracked Rajesh's location to Indore. A police team was dispatched, and Rajesh was found working at a factory in the Pithampur industrial area of Indore. During interrogation, Rajesh clarified that he had not been kidnapped. He told police that he had left voluntarily due to financial distress. "His upcoming marriage and some family issues had also caused him mental stress, which prompted him to leave home," the SP said. His statement was also recorded in court. Rajesh is a native of Birampur under Gidha police station, while his family currently resides in Ramgarhia under Ara town police station....
