Yogi urges voters to give complete mandate to NDA for development
DARBHANGA/ GOPALGANJ, Nov. 5 -- Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday led a spectacular 10-kilometre roadshow in Darbhanga, turning the city's streets into saffron as thousands thronged to greet him. The procession, which began at Lohia Chowk, saw Yogi showered with flowers from a bulldozer - a symbolic display of his 'bulldozer baba' image that drew loud cheers from the crowd.
Holding a microphone throughout the 60-minute roadshow, the BJP star campaigner repeatedly raised slogans of "Bharat Mata ki Jai" and "Jai Shri Ram".
Streets and rooftops were adorned with saffron flags, while women performed aarti from balconies and youth waved placards reading "You are our hero."
Adding colour to the event, a young woman named Aastha led the rally on a Bullet motorcycle, dressed in saffron attire and waving the BJP flag. "Yogi ji is our hero," she told reporters. "I rode ahead to inspire women to take a stronger role in politics. With Yogi and Modi leading the NDA, Bihar's development will accelerate."
Addressing the crowd, Adityanath appealed to voters to ensure a decisive mandate for the NDA. "NDA means development, NDA means progress," he declared. "This time, form the government with a bigger majority."
The BJP CM posted on X:
"For building a prosperous and developed Bihar on the strong foundation of good governance, it is essential to have the NDA government once again. This grand roadshow is a symbol of the unwavering faith and immense support of the people of Darbhanga towards the BJP-NDA".
At Gopalganj, drawing a parallel between RJD-Congress axis in Bihar with Samajwadi party in his state, Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday said the promises made of constituents by the INDIA block as their desperation to return to power with th malafide intention and urged voters to impede their bid to keep the criminal forces at bay and pave the way for fullest development in the state at a public meeting in Gopalganj district on Tuesday.
Addressing a rally at Baikunthpur in Gopalganj district, while seeking the vote for BJP's Mithilesh Tiwari, Uttar Pradesh CM said the constituents of INDIA block have taken recourse to a bundle of false promises as a part of their deep rooted conspiracy to wallow in the public money meant for the "poor and disadvantaged" group.
"The RJD and Congress are alarmed by the poor are getting their rights. So their are hatching conspiracy one after another. They all are eyeing the welfare scheme with which farmers and other people are being benefitted with,"Yogi said....
