PATNA, Sept. 4 -- A 22-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by two people after they made her hostage at gun point from Fatuha railway station late on Tuesday night. The woman was sent to the hospital for the medical examination, police said. Police said that the incident took place at around 11.30pm after two people made the woman hostage at gun point from Fatuha railway station and took her to an isolated place at a room where they gang raped her. "They also threatened her with dire consequences if she reported the matter to the police and informed anyone. The woman told the police that the incident occurred when she was waiting for the train at Fatuah railway station." Soon after the incident, the woman contacted the police patrolling jeep and narrated her woes to the police. The police immediately came into action and arrested two accused involved in the incident," said rural Superintendent of Police (SP) Vikram Sihag. The rural SP said that the police identified the arrested accused as Sonu Kumar alias Sonu Sanata and Niranjan Kumar of Fahtua. "In the course of the investigation, it came to light that both the accused were working as middle men for selling property which made sources of income.
