Woman cop suspended for making reels on duty
BETTIAH, May 4 -- Bagaha's superintendent of police (SP) Sushant Kumar Saroj on Saturday suspended a woman constable for allegedly making short videos for her social media walls during duty hours in the district.
According to the police, the suspended policewoman has been identified as Priyanshi Kumari who was attached to the police line at Bagaha.
"She has been suspended for making reels in police uniform during duty," said Sushant Kumar Saroj, superintendent of police (SP), Bagaha.
The development came after her video in police uniform went viral on social media. With sizeable followers, the police constable would post short videos her social media walls actively, said sources in the police. She would post videos filmed during her duty hours.
"Making short videos or reels the in police uniform is strictly prohibited for the police personnel. Strict action would follow if the deviation is detected," the SP said.
Earlier, a sub inspector (SI) rank policewoman, Priyanka Gupta was similarly suspended by Bihar's East Champaran superintendent of police (SP) Swarn Prabhat for allegedly making short videos for her social media walls during duty hours in February this year....
