AURANGABAD, May 15 -- A woman and her three minor daughters died, while her son was in a critical condition, after she allegedly consumed poison along with her four children at the platform of Rafiganj railway station in Aurangabad district on Wednesday, police said. Police further said that the deceased were identified as Sonia Devi (35), wife of agricultural labourer Ravi Bind, and her three daughters aged between one and five years. The woman's minor son was later admitted to Sadar Hospital in Aurangabad in critical condition. According to her brother-in-law, Ram Surat Bind, the couple lived separately from the joint family and had frequent arguments. They reportedly had a fight on Tuesday night and again on Wednesday morning over an undisclosed issue. Later that morning, Ravi Bind left for work. Sonia Devi then left home with her four children, telling family members she was going to her parental home. Instead, she went to Rafiganj railway station, about 12 kilometres away. Around noon, she allegedly mixed poison in a water bottle, made the children consume it, and drank it herself. Upon receiving information about a woman struggling with children on the platform, Railway Protection Force (RPF) Inspector Ram Sumer and Rafiganj station house officer (SHO) Shambhu Kumar rushed to the spot and took them to the nearby Community Health Centre for treatment. Doctors declared the woman and her three daughters dead, while the son was referred to a higher medical centre for advanced care. Superintendent of Police (SP) Ambrish Rahul said a forensic science laboratory (FSL) team visited the spot and further investigation is underway....
