KATIHAR, Aug. 31 -- A wolf that injured at least five people was killed in Bihar's Katihar late Friday night. The animal had reportedly created panic in the municipal area for the past week. The incident was reported from Ward No. 40, where the wolf attacked and injured several people, including an elderly resident. "We found the wolf once again attacking people on Friday night. Soon we encircled it and killed it," villagers said, adding that the animal could have harmed more people had it not been stopped. The villagers expressed relief after the wolf's death but cautioned that more such animals might be around. "We can't rule out the possibility of another attack. We need protection from such ferocious animals," they said....
