PATNA, July 12 -- The wife of a private school owner, who was shot dead by unidentified assailants near DAV School under the jurisdiction of Khagaul police station late on July 6, has been arrested for allegedly conspiring with a driver to kill her husband, police said. Police have also recovered two motorcycles and two mobile phones used in the crime. City SP (West) B.P. Singh said that a Special Investigation Team (SIT) was formed soon after the murder of Ajit Kumar, owner of a private school. "Based on CCTV footage, the SIT tracked and arrested Reeta Sinha, wife of the deceased, from outside the state along with Manshu Kumar, the driver," the officer said. During interrogation, Reeta Sinha confessed to the conspiracy, stating that she was upset with Ajit's decision to sell the school property. Driven by greed over the school land, she allegedly plotted his murder with Manshu. The accused woman had promised to pay Rs.10 lakh for the killing, of which Rs.3 lakh was paid in advance, the SP added....
