PATNA, Dec. 24 -- The Vigilance Investigation Bureau (VIB) on Tuesday arrested two government employees in separate raids, officials said. In the first case, Kanhaiya Singh, a sub-inspector (SI) posted at Siwan police station in Siwan district, was caught red-handed while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs.40,000 at a tea stall near Maharana Pratap Chowk on the Siwan-Raghunathpur Road. According to officials, complainant Sunil Kumar had approached the vigilance bureau alleging that the SI was demanding a bribe in exchange for removing his sister's name from Siwan police station case number 309/25. In the second case, the vigilance team arrested a revenue employee, Raja Kumar, after he was caught red-handed while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs.1 lakh at his circle office in Masaurhi, Patna district. Meanwhile, VIB sleuths have started questioning both the arrested employees....
