PATNA, July 26 -- Two brothers, who duped women by fleeing with their gold ornaments on the pretext of clicking photographs for government schemes, were arrested in Jalalpur police station area of Saran district on Friday, police said. Around 900 grams of gold, 800 grams of silver ornaments, and Rs.53 lakh in cash were recovered from their house, police added. The accused have been identified as Rakesh Kumar Ram and Mukesh Kumar Ram, residents of Nakhas Chowk under the jurisdiction of Town police station in Vaishali district, said Saran superintendent of police (SP) Kumar Ashish. According to police, a group of people caught one of the brothers on Thursday while he was attempting to lure women with the promise of benefits under a government scheme. Sensing foul play, locals nabbed him and informed the police. The second brother initially managed to escape but was later arrested. The duo was reportedly involved in at least four similar cases in Saran district. The SP said that police had received a tip-off regarding the brothers' presence and their fraudulent activities....
