PATNA, May 30 -- Patna police on Wednesday night arrested two people in connection with the indiscriminate firing at busy Boring Road under SK Puri police station here on May 24. Three criminals are still at large, police said adding a car had also been seized in this regard. A day after the incident Patna SSP Awakash Kumar had suspended six policemen for dereliction of duty. SDPO-2, Sachiwalaya, Saket Kumar on Thursday said on May 24, some criminals had fired in front of Pant Bhawan following a collision with two vehicles. "Five criminals have been identified for their involvement in the firing in which two have been arrested, identified as Ashish Kumar of Kadamkuan and one minor boy from Mahendru. Raids are on to arrest two others involved in the case." Sources said the rest of the miscreants had moved out of the state. "However, police have already taken out an arrest warrant against the rest, " they said. Meanwhile, the incident had occurred after a group of youths in a black Scorpio collided with a Baleno car carrying a family. When the family objected, the youths became aggressive. Finding the situation going out of control, the youths returned after a few minutes and fired at least 8 rounds. However, no one was injured in the incident. An ADG rank officer was passing through the area and attempted to chase the miscreants, who also fired at the police vehicle. In retaliation, the ADG's bodyguard fired two rounds at the miscreants but they managed to escape....
