Two accused of minor girl's gang-rape arrested in Bihar's Kaimur
BHABUA, May 20 -- Kaimur police on Monday arrested two accused of a minor girl's gang-rape at a village under the jurisdiction of Bhabua Town police station.
The 17-year-old victim had gone to watch a cultural programme at her village on Saturday night. She went behind Panchayat Sarkar Bhawan to attend call of nature when the two accused namely, Vikas Bind and Sanjay Bind of the village, forcibly lifted her, gagged her mouth and raped her at an abandoned pump house, Town station house officer (SHO) Mukesh Kumar said.
Following the incident, Superintendent of Police (SP) Hari Mohan Shukla ordered the registration of a case under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
Meanwhile, police started collecting scientific evidence to ensure speedy trial of the accused....
