Trainee army officer dies at OTA in Gaya Ji
GAYA JI, July 9 -- A 25-year-old trainee army officer from Maharashtra died during a training session at the Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Gaya Ji on Monday, officials said.
The deceased, Kumar Atharva Sambhaji, was a resident of Ardhanagar under the Palus police station area in Sangli district. He suddenly collapsed during the morning drill and was rushed to Anugrah Narayan Magadh Medical College and Hospital (ANMMCH), where doctors declared him dead.
Magadh Medical police station SHO, Inspector Krishna Kumar, said on Tuesday that "preliminary findings suggest heart blockage as the likely cause of death".
An unnatural death case has been registered, and a post-mortem examination was conducted, the officer said.
The body was later handed over to OTA officials and is being flown to his hometown in Maharashtra by a special aircraft....
