Haridwar, July 20 -- With over 30 million Kanwariyas having arrived in Uttarakhand as of Saturday, industrial operations in the Haridwar district have come to a near standstill due to traffic restrictions and route diversions imposed during the ongoing Kanwar Yatra, people aware of the matter said. From Friday onwards, with the start of the vehicular "Dak Kanwar", the movement of all commercial, goods, and industrial vehicles - whether heavy or light - has been completely restricted within Haridwar district.
