PURNIA, April 29 -- At least three incidents of sexual assault were reported from three districts in Biharwithin a span of 24 hours. On Monday morning, a 20-year-old was allegedly gang raped by three persons. The victim, from Uttar Pradesh, was waiting for her train at Sasamusa railway station in Gopalganj along with her ailing father when the incident took place. One of the accused was caught by the people. Police have launched a manhunt to nab the other two accused. "Statement of the girl has been recorded and a probe is underway," police said. In another incident, on Sunday evening Bachhwara police in Begusarai arrested all three accused in connection with alleged gang rape of a 25-year-old mentally challenged girl. SP Manish said, "Police swung into action soon after the complaint lodged by the father and all three accused were arrested." Those arrested were identified as Ramlal Das, Devendra Sah and Pradeep Kumar. In yet another incident, a six-year-old girl was allegedly raped in Purnia. She was found lying unconscious in a maize field....
