PURNIA, May 15 -- Four people, including three policemen-one of them an assistant sub-inspector (ASI)-were arrested in Purnia district on Wednesday in connection with the loot of over Rs.1.10 lakh from a youth. The looted cash has also been recovered, police officials said. The arrests were made based on a complaint lodged by 18-year-old Abhinandan Yadav, a resident of Mohini village under the jurisdiction of Kasba police station. In his complaint filed at Khazanchi Hat police station, Yadav alleged that four individuals, including three in police uniform, looted Rs.1,10,000 from him at Chunni Oraon Chowk. He further alleged that the accused later threatened him in various ways.
