three killed in Rohtas road mishap: Police
SASARAM, Sept. 30 -- Three pilgrims, including two children, were killed and their mother was critically injured when a speeding truck rammed into an auto-rickshaw near a petrol pump on the Tilauthu-Dehri national highway in Rohtas district on Monday, police said.
The incident occurred under the jurisdiction of Tilauthu police station.
Police said the deceased auto driver, Chitranjan Yadav (22), a resident of Rediya village in Rohtas, was taking his married sister Sunita Devi (28) and her two children-Sonakshi Kumari (10) and Ayush Kumar (8), residents of Baktauan village under Nabinagar police station in Aurangabad district-to the Tutla Bhawani Dham for Navratri worship.
The impact of the accident was so severe that Chitranjan, his niece Sonakshi, and nephew Ayush died on the spot....
